How was your Thanksgiving? Did you survive? Eat too much? Listen to a relative banter about politics for over an hour? Congratulations, you made it through. Now, we have the privilege of looking through the fantasy football RB injury report to figure out the statuses and updates of the running backs that matter.
We’ll start in the AFC, where the list is shockingly small for this time of year. It’s a holiday miracle.
Jeremy McNichols, Tennessee Titans
After cutting veteran Adrian Peterson, the Titans will also be without Jeremy McNichols for Week 12 with a concussion. D’Onta Foreman and Dontrell Hilliard should see large workloads.
Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots
Rhamondre Stevenson is listed as questionable (knee) after popping up on the injury report on Thursday.
He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and appears to be in line to play.
Damien Harris, New England Patriots
The other half of the Patriots backfield committee, Damien Harris, is questionable with a neck injury. Nevertheless, he practiced in a limited capacity all week and should be good to go.
Michael Carter, New York Jets
Michael Carter is out with an ankle injury that is going to keep him sidelined for several weeks. It’s an unfortunate blow for a rookie who was coming into his own lately.
The NFC has a few big names on the report but with mostly positive news surrounding them. Fantasy managers can breathe a little lighter in Week 12.
Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers
After missing one week with an MCL injury, Aaron Jones practiced in a limited capacity all week.
He appears to be trending towards making his return against the Los Angeles Rams in a game that could have massive playoff implications.
Cordarrelle Patterson, Atlanta Falcons
Cordarrelle Patterson, who missed last week’s game with an ankle injury, is questionable for Week 12. He looks to be trending in the right direction, although it isn’t definitive yet.
Jordan Howard, Philadelphia Eagles
Jordan Howard is out for Week 12 with a knee injury. Miles Sanders and Boston Scott will handle the rushing duties this week against the Giants.
Saquon Barkley, New York Giants
Speaking of the Giants game, Saquon Barkley is officially listed as questionable, but it appears that he’s on track to play. After a slow return against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Barkley will look to get back to his RB1 ways against the Eagles.
Elijah Mitchell, San Francisco 49ers
Elijah Mitchell is doubtful with a finger injury that required surgery last week. If you’re currently planning on deploying him this week, come up with other plans.
