Prepare yourselves for two flames’ worth of matrimony.
Actress Megan Fox and her rock star beau, Machine Gun Kelly, are engaged.
“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree,” Fox wrote in the caption of her Wednesday Instagram post announcing the engagement.
“We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”
Her poetic post continued, “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.”
“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes … and then we drank each other’s blood.”
“’Yes, in this life and every life,’” Kelly wrote on his own Instagram, under a close-up of the engagement ring. “Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me.”
“I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022.”
The pair met in March of 2020 while filming “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” when Fox was separated from “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Brian Austin Green.
After months of speculation, the couple confirmed their relationship in June 2020 after the rapper tweeted his own lyrics to announce it, “‘i’m calling you girlfriend, what the f—‘ life imitated art on that one.”
Since then, the “Bloody Valentine” singer, 31, and “Jennifer’s Body” actress, 35, have caused an uproar with their steamy PDA and eccentric displays of affection.
During an LA show on his tour, the rapper, whose real name is Colson Baker, stopped his performance to kiss his soon-to-be wife while she wrapped her legs around him.
This came after a very PDA-filled awards season where they were seen getting handsy at both the Billboard Music Awards and VMAs.
This will be MGK’s first marriage and Fox’s second.
The “Transformers” star shares 3 kids with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
