Betty White’s assistant celebrated what would have been White’s 100th birthday by sharing one of the final photos taken of the late icon.
“Hello Everyone! It’s Kiersten. Betty’s assistant,” she wrote on Monday, in a post shared via White’s official Facebook page.
“On this special day, I wanted to share this photo of Betty. It was taken on 12/20/21. I believe it’s one of the last photos of her,” Kiersten continued. “She was radiant and beautiful and as happy as ever.”
In the pic, the legendary “Golden Girls” actress is seen sitting in a floral-printed chair, sporting a bright green ensemble, sparkling jewelry, a full face of makeup and a wide smile.
“Thanks to all of you who are doing kind things today and every day to make the world a better place,” Kiersten concluded the tribute to her former boss.
Notable names in Hollywood also shared sweet messages dedicated to White on her special day, including Morgan Freeman.
“Life is precious, and so are the friends that we meet along the way,” the actor tweeted alongside a photo of himself sharing the stage with White. “Happy Heavenly Birthday tomorrow Betty White! You will always be treasured!”
Google also honored White on her birthday by showering its search page with rose petals, a nod to Rose, her character from “The Golden Girls.”
As previously reported, the showbiz icon of more than eight decades died at the age of 99 on Dec. 31.
The Emmy winner’s cause of death was listed as a cerebrovascular accident — otherwise known as a stroke — in a Los Angeles County Department of Public Health document, obtained by TMZ earlier this month.
