Roses are red, he’s sorry to True.
Just before confessing his philandering ways — and copping to a paternity claim — to on-again, off-again partner, Khloé Kardashian, Tristan Thompson greeted their daughter, True, 3, with nearly 100 roses.
Thompson — who is currently in Los Angeles with the Sacramento Kings to play the Lakers — was spotted picking up daughter True from gymnastics class Monday in footage obtained by TMZ. The sighting came just an hour before he posted his apology to Kardashian on social media and confirmed he conceived a baby boy with model Maralee Nichols, who is currently seeking child support from the star.
In the clip, Thompson, 30, is seen sitting in an SUV outside of the class when a delivery man drops off what was close to 100 roses to the athlete’s driver — flowers a source claims were for True.
Shortly after picking up his daughter, the NBA baller took to Instagram to not only confirm himself as a new father but to apologize for bringing years of embarrassment to Good American founder Kardashian.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” he confessed. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” he went on. “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”
Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom, has spoken out in support of his former partner and reality TV co-star following the news.
“I truly wish nothing but the best for her and I’m hoping we can reconnect and talk one day as friends,” Odom commented on a Facebook post discussing the test results, adding, “she is a good person and deserves the world.”
Sister Kim Kardashian also subtly showed her support by sharing a photo of her playfully posing alongside Khloé and their respective kids Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and True at a “Sing 2” watch party.
She captioned the sweet pic with an emoji of the infinity symbol, with Khloé replying in the comments section with three infinity emojis of her own.
