Want to see Saturday’s solar eclipse? Book a flight to Antarctica, or take a cruise around the South Orkney Islands, the only places where the sun will be completely darkened on Dec. 4.
Some people in other parts of the Southern Hemisphere will have the chance to experience a partial eclipse, according to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. That includes viewers in certain areas of Namibia, Lesotho, South Africa, Chile, New Zealand and Australia, in addition to South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, Crozet Islands and Falkland Islands.
