Samsung started beta testing Android 12 and One UI 4.0 almost four moths ago, before bringing the official stable version to the Galaxy S21 series in mid-November. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 got the update next, and here in the middle of the year’s final holiday stretch, Samsung has rolled out the official Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Note 20 series, as well.
Samsung’s brought out the Android 12 update in record time and showed the competition how it’s done (though things haven’t been perfect), and we can only assume the company will start releasing the newest version of Android and One UI in for more and more devices in the coming days. And since it can be hard to keep track of exactly which devices have received a major new OS upgrade, we thought it’s high time we put together a list to help you out.
We will be updating this list on a regular basis, so feel free to bookmark it if you’re excited for Android 12 and One UI 4.0. However, keep in mind that this list will not include devices for which Samsung has only released beta versions, and the fact that a device is on this list doesn’t necessarily mean you will have received the update on your end, as these rollouts can take a few weeks to reach every corner of the globe.
You can always check out our firmware archive to know if your country has received a particular update, though. And if you’re wondering if your Galaxy smartphone or tablet is even eligible for Android 12, check out this link.
